Sweco Deepens Luxembourg Footprint by Acquiring PROgroup and +ImpaKT to Boost Circular Economy Consulting

PROgroup offers comprehensive project management for sustainable real estate and urban developments based on circular economy principles, while +ImpaKT specializes in data-driven sustainability strategies and EU-supported digital standards like CIRPASS and Onto-DESIDE. These acquisitions bolster Sweco’s capabilities in advising clients on EU Green Deal objectives, enhance its multidisciplinary service portfolio in the Benelux region, and align with its strategy to grow by integrating niche sustainability and circular economy expertise. In 2024, the two firms generated EUR 5.1 million in revenue, which will be consolidated into Sweco’s financial results immediately, complementing Sweco bv/srl’s EUR 350 million turnover.

These deals will integrate around 40 seasoned professionals into Sweco’s current Luxembourg team of 110 experts, further strengthening the company’s service offering in the Benelux region.

+ImpaKT S.A. contributes expertise in crafting data-driven sustainability strategies for both corporate and public-sector clients. In 2024, PROgroup and +ImpaKT reported a combined revenue of EUR 5.1 million. By comparison, Sweco bv/srl in Brussels achieved around EUR 350 million in turnover. Both firms will be consolidated into Sweco’s financials immediately.
