Savills Celebrates Emerging Talent at Fourth Annual Apprenticeship Awards Highlighting Commitment to Skills Development

(IN BRIEF) Savills celebrated its fourth annual Apprenticeship Awards during National Apprenticeship Week, recognising outstanding contributions from apprentices and mentors across the organisation. The event highlighted the company’s commitment to developing future professionals through hands-on experience and alternative entry routes into the property industry. With nearly 300 employees currently enrolled in apprenticeship programmes, Savills continues to invest in skills development, diversity of thought, and long-term talent growth.

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 19-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Savills hosted its fourth annual Apprenticeship Awards at the firm’s Margaret Street headquarters, bringing together apprentices from across the business to recognise their achievements and dedication. The event coincided with National Apprenticeship Week and welcomed around 140 attendees, including apprentices, mentors, managers, and colleagues from multiple divisions.

Ten awards were presented across a range of categories designed to highlight professional growth, innovation, and contribution to the workplace. These included Rising Star, Making an Impact, Innovation & Creativity, Outstanding Achievement, Customer Service, and Employer’s Choice. Mentors and leaders supporting apprenticeship development were also acknowledged through the Manager’s Award and Future Talent Champion distinctions.

The ceremony was hosted by Professional Apprenticeships Manager Serena Phillips and Head of Future Talent Naomi Chandler, and featured a guest talk by broadcaster and Radio 1 Extra DJ Richie Brave. Apprentices and previous award recipients shared personal insights into their experiences within the programme, while senior representatives discussed the selection process and the importance of nurturing emerging talent.

Among the standout recipients was apprentice surveyor Adil Hussain from the Global Occupier Services team, who received both the Making an Impact and Employer’s Choice awards. Katie Gilhooly of the Birmingham Development team earned recognition for Customer Service, while Joshua Aderele from the Housing Treasury team was honoured with the Recognition award early in his apprenticeship journey.

Savills currently supports 296 employees undertaking apprenticeships across its various business units, reflecting the company’s ongoing investment in alternative career pathways into the property profession.

Richard Rees, Managing Director of Savills UK, congratulated participants and emphasized that the apprenticeship programme continues to grow in strength, providing opportunities to celebrate hard work while encouraging diverse perspectives and new talent within the sector. He noted that developing people through such initiatives is central to maintaining the firm’s long-term success and ensuring it remains a trusted advisor to clients.
