(PRESS RELEASE) WETTENBERG, 5-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — PVA TePla AG has expanded its Italian presence by opening a new, cutting-edge facility in Marano Vicentino, significantly enhancing its production and service capacities. This modern plant, double the size of its previous location, supports PVA TePla’s strategic goal of increasing in-house production for its Material Solutions division, particularly for key components like process chambers used in sectors such as renewable energy, semiconductors, and mobility.

The new facility not only boosts the company’s independence from external suppliers, thereby strengthening its supply chain resilience, but also serves as an application center for metrology systems, catering to Italian and southern French clients. CEO Jalin Ketter emphasized that the new location will improve production efficiency and provide customers with faster, more localized service through a skilled team based in Veneto.

With an area of 10,380 square meters, the plant includes 5,040 square meters for production, equipped with heavy-duty cranes capable of lifting 50 tons, enabling the local manufacturing of larger, complex vacuum systems. Designed for sustainability, the building operates independently of fossil fuels, thanks to a 292 kWp photovoltaic system, heat pumps, and advanced insulation, ensuring both environmental benefits and cost savings.

General Manager of PVA Italy, Matteo Costeniero, highlighted the expanded service capacities and the close proximity to customers, which allow for quick response times and comprehensive support. The new facility’s optimized infrastructure positions PVA TePla for growth, supporting its commitment to sustainable production and closer customer collaboration.
