The funds raised during the 33rd Finale will enable the purchase of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment for paediatric wards, including neuro-oncology centres, surgical oncology units, pathology labs, and hospices. Cancer remains the second leading cause of death among children in Poland, with approximately 1,100 new cases diagnosed each year. Despite advances that place Poland’s paediatric oncology outcomes on par with Western Europe and the U.S., sustained investment in modern medical equipment is essential to improve diagnostic precision and treatment outcomes.

ORLEN’s decision to partner with WOŚP was strongly influenced by a customer survey conducted in 2024, in which over 70% of respondents supported the initiative.

In 2024 alone, the charity raised a record-breaking PLN 282 million to combat lung diseases.
