This collaboration will focus on reducing health inequalities, enhancing patient care, and fostering opportunities for healthcare staff development, with a goal of creating more effective and patient-centered healthcare services.

(PRESS RELEASE) GLASGOW, 29-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — NHS Lanarkshire and the University of Glasgow have formalised a new Strategic Partnership Agreement designed to transform healthcare delivery, drive clinical research advancements, and enhance health outcomes across Lanarkshire. This collaboration aims to combine NHS Lanarkshire’s commitment to patient care with the University of Glasgow’s excellence in teaching and research, creating a model for improving healthcare in the region.

The partnership will address local health challenges and work toward reducing inequalities, ensuring that everyone in Lanarkshire has an equal opportunity for good health. Innovative ideas and new approaches will be tested and implemented, focusing on making healthcare services more effective and aligned with patients’ needs.
