Jörn Hasenfuss joins the Board of Management of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

9-7-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Jörn Hasenfuss (52), previously First Vice President & Commercial Executive Vice President of Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co. Ltd, has been appointed Member of the Management Board for the Procurement Division of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. He follows Rüdiger Koch, hitherto Member of the Board of Management for Procurement at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, who will take on a new position in the Group.

Jörn Hasenfuss is a Business Administration graduate and joined the Volkswagen Group in 1987. Working through different stages in the field of Controlling, he has held various leading positions in Procurement since 1993. Hasenfuss switched to Audi AG in Ingolstadt as head of Commodity Metal in 1999. He returned to Volkswagen AG in 2002, where he was responsible for International Project Control and Procurement New Products A class. Since May 2005, he was head of Worldwide Product Procurement for the Interior, before being appointed as First Vice President & Commercial Executive Vice President of Shanghai Volkswagen in 2009.

Rüdiger Koch has been with Volkswagen since 1985. In the years 2002 to 2004 he was head of the Groups Worldwide Product Procurement for Power Train. After working through different stages with Bentley and Volkswagen Group China, the graduate engineer was appointed Member of the Board of Management for Procurement of VW de Mexico, responsible for the entire North American procurement market in 2008.
