The Extel Awards, presented in London, are based on independent surveys conducted by 110 investment and research firms, representing the opinions of 156 industry professionals, including analysts, fund managers, and portfolio managers. The ceremony gathered more than 250 leading figures from the European financial sector, underscoring the event’s prestige as a benchmark for excellence in investor relations.

During its Capital Markets Day in London, Iberdrola unveiled its new 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, which focuses on transitioning the Group towards a more regulated business model, with electricity networks serving as a key driver of growth. The plan includes a €58 billion investment aimed at accelerating the electrification of the global economy and expanding infrastructure to meet rising energy demands. Around two-thirds of this investment will be directed toward transmission and distribution networks, primarily in the United Kingdom and the United States.
