Hydro and Norwegian Red Cross Join Forces to Strengthen Communities and Provide Emergency Relief Worldwide

(IN BRIEF) Hydro has entered into a partnership with the Norwegian Red Cross, aiming to support a just transition and provide emergency relief globally. The partnership will focus on strengthening local communities, promoting equal opportunities, and supporting disaster preparedness. Hydro will contribute NOK 1.5 million annually to the Norwegian Red Cross’s humanitarian efforts, further enhancing their ability to respond to crises and support vulnerable populations.

The partnership, which was formalized through a signing agreement between Cecilie Thuv, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at the Norwegian Red Cross, and Eivind Kallevik, President & CEO of Hydro, underscores the commitment of both organizations to drive positive change and support vulnerable communities.
