This contract focuses on the maintenance, repair, and investment in road and infrastructure improvements within the region. The agreement has an initial term of eight years, with the possibility of extension up to twelve years at the council’s discretion, and services are set to begin in October 2024.

North Lanarkshire, one of the largest local authorities in Scotland and strategically located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, covers an area comparable in size to Cologne. The council is embarking on a comprehensive five-year plan to revitalize the region, with key investments in essential infrastructure such as roads, bridges, street lighting, and traffic management systems.

  • 250 culverts and trash screens
  • 64,000 luminaires and 2.3 million meters of street lighting cable
  • Over 3,000 signs and 200 traffic management systems
