EY launches four new Centers of Excellence (CoE) to companies in the Asia-Pacific region

  • Centers to offer business transformation strategy, cybersecurity, analytics and manufacturing capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Singapore-based hub to contribute to industry capability development

SINGAPORE, 18-Mar-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — EY has launched four new Centers of Excellence (CoE) to provide innovative services in digital business transformation strategy, cybersecurity, analytics and manufacturing to companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

The four Centers – the Asia-Pacific Advisory Center; Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity; Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence for Analytics; and Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence for Manufacturing – represent EY’s commitment to a multimillion dollar, multiyear investment in Singapore. The Asia-Pacific Centers of Excellence will be connected with EY’s global team of more than 43,000 client-serving Advisory professionals worldwide to deliver a seamless, global experience for clients.

Cybersecurity
In EY’s Global Information Security Survey 2015, 36% of global respondents said that it is unlikely they would be able to detect a sophisticated attack. The EY Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity will help companies develop competency against cyber threats. It will also operate as a security training, certification and innovation lab to help professionals develop technical skills, assisting to address a fundamental problem of cyber skills shortage in the market.

Manufacturing
The EY Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence for Manufacturing will help manufacturing companies embark on a performance improvement journey or leverage an integrated work system to improve productivity, protect margins, increase return on assets and support growth through innovation This Center is one of the first facilities in the Asia-Pacific region offering this service.
