Eneco CEO As Tempelman Announces Departure for Signify, Kees Jan Rameau Appointed Interim CEO

(IN BRIEF) As Tempelman, CEO of Eneco, has announced his decision to leave the company to join Signify as their new CEO in September. Kees Jan Rameau, the current COO-IE, will serve as interim CEO until a permanent successor is appointed. Tempelman expressed his gratitude for the achievements at Eneco, particularly in advancing the energy transition and the successful implementation of the OnePlanetPlan. Under his leadership, Eneco achieved both financial success and sustainability goals. Tempelman had been with Eneco since 2020 and previously held leadership positions at Shell across multiple regions.

(PRESS RELEASE) ROTTERDAM, 28-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — The Supervisory Board of NV Eneco and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) As Tempelman jointly announce that As Tempelman has made the decision to step down from his role at Eneco. He will assume the position of CEO at Signify in September. The process for selecting a new CEO has already been initiated by the Supervisory Board. In the interim, Kees Jan Rameau, the current Chief Operating Officer Integrated Energy (COO-IE), will serve as acting CEO of Eneco starting July 4th.

As Tempelman joined the Management Board of NV Eneco as CEO on July 20, 2020. Before his tenure at Eneco, Tempelman held various senior leadership roles at Shell, overseeing operations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
