(PRESS RELEASE) COLOGNE, 11-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — DEUTZ will be showcasing its latest advancements in sustainable mobility and energy solutions at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas from March 3 to 7, underlining the strategic importance of both the construction sector and the US market to the company. As North America’s largest construction trade fair, held every three years, CONEXPO provides DEUTZ with a key platform to engage with customers and demonstrate its evolving portfolio of propulsion and energy technologies.

Guided by its mission, “We ensure the world keeps moving,” DEUTZ is presenting a range of innovative system solutions tailored to meet the diverse and evolving needs of construction industry customers. The company’s offering spans traditional and alternative powertrains, including diesel and biofuel-powered internal combustion engines, electric drives, battery systems, and power generators, alongside digital service tools designed to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Markus Villinger, CEO of DEUTZ’s Engines business unit, emphasized that rising cost pressures and increasing sustainability requirements are driving demand for highly efficient and dependable drive and energy systems in the construction sector. He highlighted that a balanced technology mix is essential, noting that DEUTZ’s broad product portfolio—from alternative drives to energy generation systems—combined with its global service network, enables customers to achieve both operational performance and sustainability goals. Villinger also reaffirmed the continued relevance of internal combustion engines in heavy-duty applications, particularly when operated using hydrogen or advanced biofuels such as HVO, which can already contribute to meaningful decarbonization.

A central highlight of DEUTZ’s exhibition presence is the DEUTZ TCD 3.9/4.0 engine, a versatile and compact off-highway power unit designed for demanding applications. Fully approved for operation with HVO like all DEUTZ combustion engines, the TCD 3.9/4.0 delivers consistently high torque over extended periods while maintaining low fuel consumption and minimal maintenance requirements. With a power range of 75 to 130 kW and a modular design allowing extensive customization, the engine offers manufacturers significant economic advantages across the value chain. Since entering volume production at the end of 2025, the platform has attracted strong interest from international original equipment manufacturers.

Also on display is the DEUTZ TCD 12.8 engine, which is especially well-regarded in the US market. Capable of delivering up to 390 kW, the engine combines high performance with efficient fuel and AdBlue consumption. DEUTZ has further refined its exhaust aftertreatment (EAT) system in partnership with HJS Emission Technology, a company in which DEUTZ holds a 50 percent stake. The updated system meets the latest emissions standards without increasing installation space requirements. Additional examples of DEUTZ’s combustion engine lineup, including the TCD 2.9 and 5.2 liter variants, round out the display.

For customers seeking zero-emission alternatives, DEUTZ is also presenting comprehensive electrification solutions at its stand. The company offers integrated electric drive systems operating at 400 and 800 volts, supported by high-performance batteries engineered to withstand the demanding conditions of off-highway environments. These solutions are designed to help customers transition smoothly toward more sustainable operations.

Beyond product innovation, DEUTZ is highlighting the strength of its service network in North America. In addition to collaborating with over 600 independent service partners, the company operates twelve DEUTZ Power Centers (DPCs) that provide maintenance and repair services for both DEUTZ and non-DEUTZ engines. These centers offer extensive spare parts support aimed at minimizing downtime and extending equipment lifespan. DEUTZ is also promoting its Xchange program, which provides professionally reconditioned engines and components, enabling customers to reduce costs while extending the operational life of their machinery in an environmentally responsible manner.
