CTP Enhances Industrial Ecosystem in Aš with New Heinz-Glas Decor Lease and Continued Sustainable Expansion

(IN BRIEF) CTP has welcomed Heinz-Glas Decor as a new tenant at CTPark Aš, reflecting the park’s flexibility in accommodating specialized industrial requirements. The global glass packaging manufacturer selected the site to support growing demand and meet strict warehousing standards, benefiting from customizable shell and core space and proximity to its production facility. The development underscores the broader transformation of the Aš region into a competitive business environment, supported by sustainable infrastructure, BREEAM-certified buildings, and initiatives such as Lex Aš aimed at attracting investment and workforce return. With strong transport links and ongoing expansion plans, CTPark Aš continues to position itself as a key logistics and light industrial hub near the Czech-German border.

(PRESS RELEASE) Aš, Czech Republic, 19-Mar-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — CTP, recognized as Europe’s largest publicly listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics real estate by gross leasable area, has announced that Heinz-Glas Decor has joined CTPark Aš as its latest tenant. The move highlights CTP’s ability to provide adaptable solutions tailored to businesses across diverse industries.

Heinz-Glas Decor, an internationally established producer of premium glass packaging for cosmetics and fragrances, serves a wide portfolio of globally recognized brands. Until now, the company had been utilizing its production site in Hranice u Aše for storage purposes. However, growing demand alongside stricter cleanliness requirements led to the need for a more suitable warehousing solution. The company opted for a partially completed unit within CTPark Aš, allowing the shell and core structure to be rapidly customized. The storage of glass products requires strict hygiene conditions, along with specific technical adjustments such as installations for electric insect control systems.

Pavel Isteník, CEO of Heinz-Glas Decor, noted that the company’s expansion requires storage facilities that meet elevated quality standards. He emphasized that the Aš location offers both proximity to production and the advantage of high-quality infrastructure delivered within a short timeframe. The new warehouse is expected to improve operational flexibility and ensure that products are stored under optimal conditions.

Jana Hain-Schmiedberská, Business Developer at CTP in the Czech Republic, highlighted the strong development prospects of the Aš region. She pointed to its strategic positioning, the commitment of local stakeholders, and the ambition to foster economic growth as key factors attracting leading companies. She described Heinz-Glas Decor as an example of how combining established industrial heritage with innovation and modern facilities can create long-term value. CTP aims to build similar partnerships that support both client requirements and the sustainable growth of the region.

The transformation of the Aš area into a competitive business destination is being driven by ongoing investment and proactive local governance. CTP has been developing flexible industrial infrastructure alongside environmentally responsible initiatives. All buildings at CTPark Aš hold BREEAM certification, while Heinz-Glas Decor’s new facility is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating. Another recently completed building at the park achieved a BREEAM Very Good certification. Current development plans also include expanding green areas with protected habitats, implementing solar energy systems, introducing water recycling solutions, and enhancing cycling connectivity within the park.

Located just 3 km from the Czech-German border, CTPark Aš continues to expand in close collaboration with the city of Aš. Local authorities are actively supporting new business arrivals and working to create favorable conditions for long-term investment. A key initiative in this effort is the Lex Aš project, which combines economic research with legislative measures aimed at establishing special economic zones. The initiative seeks to accelerate regional development, attract strategic investors, and encourage the return of Czech workers to the wider Czech-Bavarian-Saxon region.

Mayor Vítězslav Kokoř expressed the city’s ambition to position Aš as both a desirable place to live and a competitive business hub. He noted that cooperation with CTP and the Lex Aš initiative provides an opportunity to attract new investment, create quality employment opportunities, and strengthen the local economy, positioning the border region as a driver of modern industry.

CTPark Aš, the westernmost site within CTP’s Czech portfolio, offers strong connectivity to major transport routes including the A93, A9, A4, and A72 motorways. The park currently provides nearly 70,000 sqm of space, with approximately 18,000 sqm still available as adaptable shell and core units with a delivery timeframe of six months. Additional expansion is planned, with permits already secured for two new buildings that will add close to 25,000 sqm of space.
