The stabilizer helps prevent scorch during manufacturing, reduces the risk of thermal oxidation, and supports effective crosslinking between peroxide agents and polymers, ensuring reliable insulation and safer power transmission in line with stringent industry requirements.

For renewable energy applications, BASF’s Tinuvin® additives help extend the lifespan of polypropylene floating pontoons used in solar installations. By protecting against UV radiation and heat-induced degradation, the solution minimizes discoloration and surface cracking, enabling pontoons to remain functional for more than 30 years while reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
