Atos Worldline announces major developments in its Sips e-payment platform

Leading the way in the fully cross-channel buying journey

13-3-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Atos Worldline, Atos core expertise in hi-tech transactional services, announces major developments in its Sips e-payment platform. This payment solution is number one on the European market with over 400 million transactions processed in 2012. The new generation of the solution facilitates and enhances the cross-channel buying journey for the end customer, and optimizes payment collection and strengthens anti-fraud measures for the merchant.

Atos Worldline is closely following evolutions in e-payment and continuing to invest in the Sips e-payment solution which is already used by thousands of merchants in Europe. The platform is being transformed, with the announcement of wide-ranging changes to improve the buying journey, simplify use of the platform to enhance the cross-channel customer experience with distance purchasing and in-store collection, optimise payment collection by the merchant and strengthen anti-fraud measures.

Three major enhancements:

  • New merchant interfaces, allowing simplified activation of payment for small retailers, with state-of-the-art management and administration tools,
  • A scoring solution for analysing transactions based on complex, modular criteria, the aim being to reduce online fraud,
  • Technical and functional solutions to enable the merchant to enhance the cross-channel buying journey for customers, allowing them to initiate a remote payment and finalise it in-store when collecting the goods.

Xavier Brucker, director of the Sips e-Payment Business Center: “The Sips e-payment platform has been constantly evolving since it was created. We are the first in Europe to offer transaction-reconciliation solutions, the possibility of advanced customisation of payment pages and robust connectors for large retailers. The new evolutions in the Sips e-payment platform mark a new stage in our development and demonstrate our ability to innovate. Today we are the first to offer fully cross-channel buying journeys.”
