Alexander Schober Appointed Global Head of Infrastructure at KfW IPEX-Bank

(IN BRIEF) Alexander Schober has been appointed Global Head of the Infrastructure sector at KfW IPEX-Bank, effective May 1, 2025, following Aida Welker’s transition to the bank’s Management Board. Schober has been with the bank since 2008 and brings a wealth of experience in infrastructure, energy, and digital sectors. KfW IPEX-Bank is also active in Energy, Mobility, and Industries & Commerce sectors.

(PRESS RELEASE) FRANKFURT, 2-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — As of May 1, 2025, Alexander Schober has assumed the role of Global Head of the Infrastructure sector at KfW IPEX-Bank. He takes over from Aida Welker, who has transitioned to the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank, also as of May 1, 2025.

Schober has been with KfW IPEX-Bank since 2008, having held several key positions, including Director of the representative office in São Paulo and Head of Digital Infrastructure and Energy Infrastructure. His extensive experience in the bank, particularly in the infrastructure and energy sectors, positions him well to lead the Infrastructure sector moving forward.

Alongside its Infrastructure sector, KfW IPEX-Bank is active in other markets, including Energy, Mobility, and Industries & Commerce, further reinforcing its diverse sectoral expertise.
