Alcura France Receives Firm Acquisition Bid for Its Homecare Division Amid Strategic Business Focus

(IN BRIEF) Alcura France, a fully owned subsidiary of Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, has received a firm acquisition proposal for its home healthcare services division (PSAD) from Santé Cie Group, a key European provider of homecare and ambulatory services. The targeted activity, which generated around EUR 17 million in revenue in 2024, is now subject to customary closing conditions, including the consultation of works councils. Despite this sale, Mutares expressed its commitment to further developing Alcura France’s core operations, especially in its maintien à domicile (MAD) sector. Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, emphasized that the company would continue to offer a full range of services to its pharmacist customers while outsourcing non-essential activities to boost returns for shareholders. The strategy highlights a balanced approach of organic growth and potential future mergers and acquisitions.
