AF Gruppen’s LAB Entreprenør Secures NOK 137 Million Contract for New Residential Project in Bergen

The project will involve demolishing existing buildings to make way for 40 new apartments, along with amenities such as a shared garage and bicycle storage. Located by the Møllendal River, the development is set to offer scenic views and access to nearby waterfront features. With a contract valued at NOK 137 million, construction is set to begin in the third quarter of 2025, with completion expected by the second quarter of 2027.

(PRESS RELEASE) OSLO, 30-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — LAB Entreprenør, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has entered into a partnership with Gjelsten Bolig to develop a new residential project in the heart of Bergen. The contract marks the beginning of an exciting new development located in Møllendalsveien, an area rich in potential, with plans to demolish existing structures and construct a total of 40 apartments spread across two modern buildings.

The new project will feature a range of amenities, including a shared garage, bicycle storage, sports stalls, and dedicated entrance areas. Situated near the banks of the Møllendal River, the location offers stunning views and easy access to a marina, a waterfront promenade, as well as a planned city beach and river park. The development will be executed as a turnkey project.

With a contract valued at approximately NOK 137 million, excluding VAT, the project is set to proceed once sufficient pre-sales are confirmed. The start of construction is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, with a planned completion by the second quarter of 2027.
