AREVA won several significant EDF contracts for support activities associated with electricity generation

PARIS, 07-Oct-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — AREVA has been awarded several significant contracts following an EDF tender for support activities associated with electricity generation. These services include handling of casks, low-level radioactive waste management, radiation protection and assembly of scaffolding and insulating protections.

The contracts won by AREVA represent a total of several tens of millions of euros. EDF may also exercise options which could represent tens of millions of euros of additional business for AREVA.
