GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA appoints Graham Leith as VP of Sales

HOUSTON, 18-9-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, one of the nation’s largest competitive retail electricity providers to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers, announced that Graham Leith has been named Vice President of Sales for the company.

Leith has an extensive background in retail energy markets and brings more than two decades of experience to his role at GDF SUEZ Energy Resources. He is skilled in developing and executing growth strategies for the North American, British, and Canadian energy markets, and has held a wide range of leadership positions in sales, marketing, operations, and risk management for a number of notable companies.

Sam Henry, President and CEO of GDF SUEZ Energy Resources, said Leith’s depth of knowledge and deep roots in the retail energy sector make him a strong addition to the company’s leadership team.

Prior to joining GDF SUEZ Energy Resources, Leith served as the Chief Risk Officer and Vice President & General Manager, Commercial Energy Sales at AEP Energy. His background also includes senior positions with Direct Energy, British Gas, Ontario Power Generation Inc., and Photowatt Solar in both Canada and the United Kingdom.

Leith earned a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. He earned his undergraduate business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University also in Ontario, Canada.
