Holcim Proposes Kim Fausing as New Chairman Following Jan Jenisch’s Upcoming Departure

(IN BRIEF) Holcim’s Board of Directors has proposed Kim Fausing as the new Chairman of the Board, following Jan Jenisch’s decision to step down after his appointment as Chairman and CEO of a new North American entity. If approved at the Annual General Meeting in 2025, Fausing will take over the role. Fausing has been a Holcim Board member since 2020 and serves on the Audit Committee. He has been the President and CEO of the Danfoss Group since 2017 and has held various international leadership roles at Hilti Group. Jenisch expressed confidence in Fausing’s leadership, citing his success in the global technology sector and extensive experience.

(PRESS RELEASE) ZUG, 10-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — The Board of Directors at Holcim has announced the nomination of Kim Fausing to serve as Chairman, a position he will assume following Jan Jenisch’s departure from the role. This change is contingent on approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in 2025, after which Fausing will succeed Jenisch, who will step down following his appointment as Chairman and CEO of the planned North American company.

Kim Fausing has been a member of Holcim’s Board of Directors since 2020 and has contributed his expertise as a member of the Audit Committee. Since 2017, he has held the position of President and CEO of the Danfoss Group in Denmark. Prior to his current role, Fausing was the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at Danfoss from 2008. His earlier career includes a range of international roles within the Hilti Group in Europe and Asia, starting in 1990.
