Infineon’s Contributions to Battery Management Systems

Electrification and battery management remain key focus areas for Infineon, which offers a complete portfolio of BMS solutions, including wired and wireless options. The wired BMS solutions feature AURIX™ microcontrollers, PMICs, and balancing and monitoring ICs, such as TLE9012DQU and TLE9015DQU. These components are designed to deliver exceptional measurement performance and meet rigorous quality and safety standards, including compliance with ASIL-D safety requirements. They are ideal for industrial, consumer, and automotive applications.

For wireless BMS, Infineon leverages its low-power CWY89829 chip to create robust mesh networks that maximize node connectivity while maintaining sensor efficiency. Additionally, Infineon’s portfolio includes reliable LV MOSFET and EiceDRIVER™ solutions, such as the 2ED2410 and 2ED4820, tailored for future-focused applications like 24V/48V BMS main switches in electrified systems.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both companies to innovate and deliver advanced technologies that support the growing demand for electrification and intelligent battery systems in the automotive industry.
