(PRESS RELEASE) BERLIN, 17-Apr-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — 50Hertz Transmission GmbH has announced the appointment of Christine Janssen as its new Chief Financial Officer, completing the company’s executive team and marking a milestone in gender parity at the top level. The decision was made by the Supervisory Board, and Janssen will step into the role previously held by Marco Nix, who took on the position of CFO at the parent company Elia Group on April 1.

Janssen brings a unique blend of financial, regulatory, and energy sector expertise to 50Hertz at a time when the company is preparing for substantial infrastructure investments. She most recently served as Commercial Director at MITNETZ STROM and MITNETZ GAS, where she played a key role in guiding the companies’ strategic and financial direction. Prior to that, she worked for more than a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), focusing on energy consulting in her role as senior manager.
