This image of DNA, taken by the High-Speed Atomic Force Microscopy (HSAFM) nanoimaging device in Bristol’s Interface Analysis Centre, is one of the highest resolution images ever collected. It has a resolution of 4 nanometres laterally and 0.1 nanometres vertically and resolves EVERY DNA strand clearly.
