Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Enhances Quality and Efficiency with State-of-the-Art DIP Line from ANDRITZ

(IN BRIEF) Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Co., Ltd., a prominent Chinese packaging paper and household tissue manufacturer, has successfully initiated operations on a high-capacity deinking pulp (DIP) line supplied by ANDRITZ at its facility in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province, China. This advanced DIP line, boasting a 200 bdt/d capacity, efficiently processes a blend of office waste and old books to produce premium de-inked pulp suitable for various paper applications. The incorporation of cutting-edge technologies in the line, such as flotation loops and advanced screening systems, has significantly improved product quality while concurrently reducing operating costs, marking a substantial advancement for the company in its pursuit of excellence in the paper industry.

(PRESS RELEASE) GRAZ, 29-Sep-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — The line processes a mix of office waste and old books with a capacity of 200 bdt/d to produce superior de-inked pulp for different kinds of paper. With three loops for flotation as well as de-ashing and double dispersing it enables highest stock quality that can even be used for production of white top linerboard and other papers.

Mr. Li Liubai, Vice Chief Engineer, Zhejiang Jingxings Paper, says: “We already have ANDRITZ tissue machines in operation. The ANDRITZ team’s approach to our most recent project has again been highly professional and supportive. As a result, the start-up went as smoothly as expected. The new DIP line helps us to improve our end-product quality and enrich end-product variety. In addition, our operating costs have decreased remarkably.”

ANDRITZ was responsible for installation of the DIP line, supervision, start-up and trainings.

The following key components were installed:

  • FiberFlow drum pulper for premium accept quality by gentle slushing, proper ink detachment and efficient removal of coarse contaminants at minimum fiber loss
  • PrimeScreen X screen basket for increased screening efficiency with lower power consumption
  • PrimeFilter D disc filter to handle high feed consistencies while reducing energy consumption
  • SelectaFlot flotation for excellent results in dirt removal and brightness with minimum fiber loss
