Wienerberger Extends Partnership with Habitat for Humanity to Build More Homes for Vulnerable Communities

Since 2012, the collaboration has provided homes for over 6,300 people, constructing more than 600 housing units across Europe and North America. The new agreement will focus on projects in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the UK, and the US. As part of its sustainability strategy, Wienerberger aims to build at least 200 housing units annually for vulnerable communities, using its eco-friendly building solutions and encouraging employee involvement.

Their partnership, which began in 2012, has focused on Europe and North America, and earlier this year, both organizations agreed to extend their collaboration for an additional three years, through 2027.

Over the past 12 years, the partnership has impacted more than 6,300 people, primarily targeting vulnerable communities in urgent need of proper housing. Together, Wienerberger and Habitat for Humanity International have successfully constructed over 600 housing units, as well as developed and renovated social facilities, including disability centers and schools. In the upcoming three years, their efforts will focus on countries such as Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
