Volvo
Deliveries of Volvo branded trucks in November decreased by 17% to 9,446 vehicles compared with the same month last year.

In Europe, deliveries decreased by 13% to 3,835 trucks in total compared to November last year. The current slowdown in economic activity and uncertainty about the future business climate in the region is clearly having a negative impact on demand for trucks. Production of Volvo trucks in Europe has been lowered by removing shifts and using stop days for the remainder of the year to meet the lower demand.

November deliveries in Asia amounted to 1,132 units in total, a decrease of 19% compared to the same month last year.

November deliveries in North America decreased 24% to 2,243 vehicles in comparison with the same period last year.  Concerns about the economy continued to affect the market, and a combination of stop days and rate reduction is being implemented to align production with demand.

Deliveries for South America decreased 21% in November compared with the same month last year. The decrease was primarily driven by lagging effects of the sluggish economy, but government stimulus efforts in Brazil are having an impact, and demand continues to improve.

Renault Trucks
In November, 4,609 Renault branded trucks were delivered, a decrease of 11% compared to the year-earlier month.

The current slowdown in economic activity and uncertainty about the future business climate in Europe is clearly having a negative impact on demand for trucks. The weakening market conditions in Southern Europe and France continues. As a consequence, the production of Renault trucks in Europe has been adjusted downwards to meet the lower demand and, in addition, as from November 22 short-term weeks have been introduced in plants producing Renault trucks.

UD
Deliveries from UD Trucks in November totaled 1,777 units, a decline of 19%.
The decline is mainly a consequence of a 21% weakening in the Japanese market after the incentives to buy new trucks were ended in July. However, Other markets improved by 20% mainly due to increased demand for construction trucks in South Africa.
