Heidenheim an der Brenz, Germany, 23-Feb-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — Through improvements in manufacturing efficiencies and structural adaptations Voith remained competitive, despite the challenging market environment and the negative price development for paper machine clothing, over the last ten years. In some areas however, despite intensive efforts, cost increases have not been possible to mitigate. Voith will therefore from 01.06.2018 increase the machine clothing pricing in EMEA between 1,6 percent to 2,4 percent.

Due to a reduction in manpower at our customer base, there exists a constantly increasing demand for service support from Voith. With the planned increase Voith can ensure that the ongoing and future focus of our customers on continuous improvement, their need for innovative products and service support can be met.
