(PRESS RELEASE) BERKSHIRE, 30-Nov-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Vodafone (LON: VOD), a British multinational leader in technology communications, announces that Romania has introduced Vodafone’s innovative EasyTech concept stores at the beginning of the year, revolutionizing the customer journey within the entire retail chain.

EasyTech stores serve as interactive hubs where customers can explore and test cutting-edge technology, discovering a diverse range of home and business products, including TVs, tablets, smartwatches, electric scooters, and air purifiers, all with expert guidance on hand.

The Maiden EasyTech Store The inaugural EasyTech store, which opened its doors in March, is situated within the Magheru One building on Gheorghe Magheru Boulevard in Bucharest. It boasts a comprehensive array of amenities, including a customer pick-up waiting area, dedicated product showcases, a sales office, and a specialized office catering to business clientele.

Customers also enjoy the convenience of device and screen insurance, along with a buyback program that allows them to trade in their old devices for upgraded ones at favorable rates. The presence of in-store ‘TechExperts’ ensures that customers receive insightful guidance when exploring new products and technology.

Eco-Conscious Design Vodafone’s commitment to e-waste collection and recycling is evident at EasyTech stores, where patrons are encouraged to bring in old phones, batteries, and electronic devices for responsible disposal or refurbishment.

Furthermore, the store’s design prioritizes sustainability, featuring a ceiling adorned with recycled fabric and walls adorned with natural plants. Energy-efficient LED lighting reduces power consumption, while digital invoices and contracts minimize paper usage.

Elevated Customer Satisfaction Since the implementation of these enhancements across 24 stores in Romania, there has been a notable uptick in device sales and heightened customer satisfaction levels. Vodafone plans to transform 30 stores across Romania by the end of 2023, ensuring more customers can access EasyTech products and services. Additionally, similar concept stores are scheduled for launch in Ireland, Greece, Egypt, and Turkey.
