Vodafone to unveil new M2M innovations at Metering, Billing / CRM Europe 2012

  • First demonstration of solar panel remote monitoring and energy data management for business

22-10-2012 — /europawire.eu/ — Vodafone today announced that it will unveil a number of new advanced M2M technologies for smart meters and smart homes at Metering, Billing/ CRM Europe 2012 from 9-11 October in Amsterdam.

Practical demonstrations of solar panel remote monitoring, energy data management tools for business and Vodafone’s Global M2M Platform will show how advanced smart metering innovations can allow businesses to improve customer satisfaction, streamline operations and reduce energy costs.

Vodafone will unveil its solution for the remote monitoring of solar panels using a live portal, presenting performance and energy efficiency data in clear, easy-to-access reports.  A new Energy Data Management tool will also be demonstrated, allowing businesses with offices in multiple locations to access real-time information to effectively manage and lower energy consumption.

Visitors to the Vodafone M2M Booth F12 in Amsterdam RAI will be able to experience Vodafone’s Global M2M Platform to explore how emerging M2M technologies allow simple management of multiple connected devices through a single mobile application.

The annual Metering, Billing/ CRM Europe 2012 event, being held from October 9-11, is designed for smart energy experts and solution providers to connect with businesses and share insight and perspectives in the midst of the rapid development of smart energy.
