VICTORINOX SWISS ARMY & SUEVIA GROUP PRESENT “NIGHT VISION” IN BUENOS AIRES

30-10-2012 — /europawire.eu/ — The Swiss watchmaker and its Argentinian distributor light up the night with the latest Night Vision watch in the dark wine cellars of  “Experiencias del Fin del Mundo” restaurant in Buenos Aires

To celebrate the Argentinian launch of its new Night Vision watch, Victorinox Swiss Army and its Argentinian distributor Suevia Group invited 60 guests to a special unveiling in the famous “Experiencias del Fin del Mundo” bodega in Buenos Aires on October 23rd.

A luminous Night Vision performance opened the festivities, followed by introductions and speeches by Rogelio Abella and Ignacio Abella of Suevia and Victorinox Swiss Army CEO Alexander Bennouna. Juan “Rifle” Varela, a popular TV personality in Argentina and a long-time friend of Victorinox Swiss Army, was also there to witness the unveiling of the star of the show—the ingenious, seductively streamlined new upgrade of the Night Vision, by Victorinox Swiss Army.

The Buenos Aires event, part of an ambitious traveling series of “Night Vision Experience” exhibitions and events, also drew attention to the new nightvision.victorinox.com website, which officially opened in early October. The interactive website allows users to explore and test the Night Vision’s innovative features, read testimonials, and compete for watches and a trip to Switzerland.

The dark cellars of the renowned bodega were the perfect setting to showcase the new Night Vision’s illuminating innovations–the integration of low consumption LED light modules for push-button activated dial illumination, pilot light, flashlight and strobe functions. A bestseller since its original launch in 2003, the Night Vision was entirely upgraded in 2012. The new edition builds upon the watch’s exclusive multifunctional features while presenting a completely new streamlined appearance. With its round, wide-open dial, contrasting finishes and narrower bezel, it exemplifies classic Swiss watch design codes. The advanced lighting features are seamless incorporated into an extension of the case, or in the metal versions, into one of the central links of the bracelet. The result is an increased dynamism and a purer aesthetic balance.
