Triton backed company AVS Verkehrssicherung to acquire traffic engineering providers Gerding GmbH Verkehrstechnik and MIS GmbH

(PRESS RELEASE) LEVERKUSEN/ SENDEN, 14-May-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — Triton announces that its Fund IV portfolio company, AVS Verkehrssicherung, has signed an agreement to acquire a renowned provider in the field of traffic engineering, Gerding GmbH Verkehrstechnik and MIS GmbH.

Gerding and MIS, based in Senden/Münsterland, have 25 employees and many years of experience in traffic engineering and mobile traffic jam warning systems. With the planning, delivery and installation of traffic signs and gantries, Gerding works closely together with state developers, cities and municipalities as well as private construction companies throughout Germany. As a service provider, MIS GmbH offers fully automatic, self-sufficient traffic jam warning systems and mobile LED variable message signs.
