Theodore Gnardellis will be Piraeus Bank’s new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

(PRESS RELEASE) ATHENS, 26-Jul-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Theodore Gnardellis has just been promoted to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Piraeus Bank. Gnardellis will also join Piraeus Bank Executive Committee. The appointment will be in effect from July 25, 2019.

Theodore Gnardellis has spent more than 15 years in different organizations and banks in Greece and abroad prior to joining Piraeus Bank in June 2018 as head of the Piraeus Legacy Unit Strategy.

Gnardellis has a Diploma in Computer Engineering & Informatics from the University of Patras and a Masters of Business Administration from the Imperial College Business School, London.

Theodore Gnardellis’ new responsibilities as CFO, which is an Executive General Manager role, will include supervision of the Group Financial Management, with main responsibility on the development of the overall strategy and the management as well as coordination of the Group’s financial activities.

Piraeus Bank’s departing CFO, Konstantinos Paschalis, who is also a General Manager and a member of Piraeus Bank Executive Committee, will continue to contribute in Group Financial Management with his expertise and long experience.
