The 14th Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia in Mexico to dedicate an entire programme to the Berlin International Film Festival

BERLIN, 01-Jul-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — On the occasion of the “Year of Germany in Mexico 2016/2017”, the 14th Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia in Mexico (October 21-30, 2016) is dedicating an entire programme to the Berlin International Film Festival.

The jointly curated selection comprises some ten films from the Berlinale 2016 programme, the Retrospective “Germany 1966 – Redefining Cinema” as well as a further film-historical work. In addition, there will be presentations of Berlinale initiatives such as the World Cinema Fund and Berlinale Talents.
Berlinale Director Dieter Kosslick and other festival representatives will present the Berlinale Spotlight, which is supported by the Goethe-Institut.
