(PRESS RELEASE) BONN, 6-Jan-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Deutsche Telekom (ETR: DTE), one of the world’s leading integrated telecommunications companies and the largest telecommunications provider in Europe by revenue, has announced that the Open Telekom Cloud, a cloud computing platform operated by its subsidiary T-Systems, has been added to the public registry of approved services following approval for its adherence to the EU Cloud Code of Conduct. The proprietary public cloud infrastructure, managed by T-Systems, has undergone stringent technical and organizational checks as part of the industry initiative, which promotes trust and accountability in the cloud market.

The public registry, managed by independent monitoring body SCOPE Europe, is a verified source for customers seeking GDPR-compliant and trustworthy cloud services.
