More than 26,000 chefs from around the world are now sharing information on local cuisine, cooking practices and taste preferences. In the past months, the number of chefs in the Symrise culinary network Chefs United has grown to more than 26,000. The chefs provide information in regards to local taste preferences, typical preparation methods and dishes as well as the latest trends and tastes around the world. Symrise now exchanges information with more than 5,000 chefs in all the major regions. The scope of culinary insights has thus more than doubled and become more detailed. The company has updated its video clip about the network to illustrate how this information is turned into products that suit consumers’ tastes. Gianfranco Chiarini is an Italian Michelin-starred chef from Ferrara, whose culinary style is described as Italian “nouvelle fusion cuisine.” His career has taken him from posts in Michelin-starred restaurants and on board cruise ships to working with luxury hotels and in culinary consultancy, research and development and on collaborations in the area of food technology.
