Suzano Taps ANDRITZ for Five-Year Modular Maintenance Deal for World’s Largest Eucalyptus Mill

(IN BRIEF) Brazilian pulp producer Suzano has entered into a five-year contract with international technology group ANDRITZ to provide modular maintenance services for its upcoming mill in Ribas do Rio Pardo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. The maintenance agreement encompasses various modules for all process islands and equipment within the new mill, which is set to commence operations by June 2024. These modules include lubrication services, as well as predictive and inspection maintenance services involving vibration and thermographic analysis of electrical and mechanical equipment. Once operational, Suzano’s new mill will boast an impressive annual production capacity of 2.55 million tons, making it the world’s largest plant with a single eucalyptus production line. ANDRITZ is playing a pivotal role by supplying the main equipment and services for this ambitious project.
