Frankfurt, Germany, 23-1-2014 — /EuropaWire/ —  STRABAG Property and Facility Services GmbH (STRABAG PFS) has been commissioned for at least another three years from 1 January 2014 with the technical facility management of the main offices of Süddeutsche Verlag in Munich. STRABAG PFS was responsible for the futuristic east Munich building back in 2009 and prevailed again last December in a call for bids. The management contract encompasses all operations pertaining to the technical facility management of the Group’s headquarters, which covers a total gross floor area of 78,400 m², and includes aspects such as safeguarding operations, servicing of technical installations and on-call emergency fault clearing services. Two options for extending the contract for one year in each case up to a total of five years are also written into the contract. The parties have agreed not to disclose the order volume.

“The fact that Süddeutsche Verlag renewed its contract with us is proof of the quality of our performance to date and serves as a tailwind for 2014 for us to acquire additional management contracts for large properties in Munich, but also for facilities and locations across Bavaria,” remarked Dr Karsten Klöcker, Head of Facility Management of the Bavaria Region for STRABAG PFS.
