(PRESS RELEASE) AMSTERDAM, 4-Apr-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Stellantis N.V. (STLA:EN), a leading multinational automaker and provider of innovative mobility solutions formed in 2021 by the merger of Fiat Chrysler and PSA Group, has announced a new streamlined financing and leasing services structure in Europe, consolidating its multi-brand capacity with the creation of two organizations – Stellantis Financial Services (formerly Banque PSA Finance) and Leasys (consolidating the activities of Leasys and Free2move Lease).

Following exclusive negotiations initiated in December 17, 2021, Stellantis confirms the entry into force of its agreements with BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, and Santander Consumer Finance. Banque PSA Finance has been renamed as Stellantis Financial Services, which will have a single financing entity per country covering all Stellantis brands in partnership with BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Santander Consumer Finance.

In addition, Stellantis has created a new multi-brand operational leasing company called Leasys, which is a 50/50 joint venture with Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance. This new venture consolidates the activities of Leasys and Free2move Lease and aims to become the European leasing leader, with a target of reaching a fleet of one million vehicles by 2026. In March 2023, the joint venture signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of ALD and LeasePlan’s activities in Portugal and Luxembourg, respectively, accelerating its business growth plans.

This new structure is in line with the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to double its net banking income by 2030 by better leveraging its financial services arms. The new structure will contribute to this target and enhance value creation across its entire financial services business.

“Today marks the birth of Stellantis Financial Services, a major player in European automotive financing, and of the new consolidated Leasys,” said Philippe de Rovira, Stellantis Chief Affiliates Officer. “This simplification allows for superior agility to serve our customers, better support of the commercialization across Stellantis brands, and   strengthened competitiveness by leveraging various synergies.”

Furthermore, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance has acquired the 50% stake in FCA Bank Group that was previously owned by Stellantis. All relevant antitrust authorities and market regulators have approved the execution of these various operations.
