SportAccord president, Marius L. Vizer remains unchallenged for the post in the upcoming elections. The election for the post of SportAccord President is due to take place on the 20th of April 2015 at the SportAccord General Assembly in Sochi, Russia during the SportAccord Convention – World Sport and Business Summit.
LAUSANNE, Switzerland, 25-3-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — The deadline for nominations of candidates was the 21st of March 2015 and Mr. Vizer stands to be re-elected as president of SportAccord for a period of four years.
Mr. Vizer, also the president of the International Judo Federation, previously won the presidential elections during the SportAccord Convention 2013 in St. Petersburg for a two-year term.
