SPORTACCORD CONVENTION EMAGAZINE REVEALS TASTER FOR THIS YEAR’S WORLD SPORT & BUSINESS SUMMIT

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, 25-3-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — SportAccord Convention eMagazine The Preview is available online today. As the most influential annual event owned by sport, the publication reveals what’s in store for the World Sport & Business Summit.

The 6-day annual gathering takes place from 19-24 April 2015 at the Sochi Expocentre, Russia and is attended by sport and industry key decision-makers, with broadcasting and media services sharing news, announcements, and key take-aways, worldwide.

Revealing some of the attractions at this year’s SportAccord Convention, the eMagazine provides information and video clips about this action-packed global event, as well as a glimpse of what’s new, and at the same time, gives viewers a flavour of the historical City of Sochi.

Once again, BBC World Journalist and Anchor David Eades, will help to moderate the conference programme with this year’s theme being Legacy. With a roster of outstanding speakers taking part in the Conference Programme, Hazam Galal, Partner and Global Leader for PwC’s Cities and Local Government Sectors, will deliver the keynote plenary introductory address on Legacy and chair a panel session. Other speakers include: Micky Lawler, President, WTA; Sergey Vorobyev, Head of Sochi Autodrome and Promoter, Sochi F1 Grand Prix; Ric Birch Managing Director, Filmmaster Special Events; Scott Bowers, Head of Communications, The Jockey Club; and Ivan Capelli, CEO, Motivegeeks Labs, former F1 driver, to name a few.

The 6-day Convention will also include a dynamic exhibition, LawAccord, City Forum, the SportAccord Convention Village and Sports Demo Zone, as well as hosting the annual general meetings of governing bodies of world sport. The World Sport & Business Summit is a global networking event with opportunities for everyone.

There’s still plenty of time for fun and relaxation too, with delegates invited to join the Opening Ceremony and the Closing Event featuring the SportAccord Awards, as well as catch up with old friends and colleagues at the After Hours Bar hosted by SportAccord Convention.
