  • Decentralized energy supply and independence in the focus of the systems
  • SOLARWATT has a future with innovative ‘Made in Germany’ systems.

Dresden, 29-4-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — The pioneer of the solar economy rises to the challenge of the crisis: today (24-4-2013) at the Dresden Eventwerk over 1,000 guests, of which 800 experts of the solar trade are being informed of the re-start of SOLARWATT GmbH, which is looking to the future with a completely new business model and innovative products.

“We believe in the future of the ‘Made in Germany’ solar technology,” says CEO Detlef Neuhaus. SOLARWATT began 20 years ago as a pioneer of the solar industry and remains a driver of innovation today, with a completely new generation of extremely resilient, high-yield, and light glass-glass modules. These modules are embedded in innovative and absolutely premium oriented systems for private houses and businesses. “The solar economy is a key technology on which over 100,000 jobs now depend in Germany. The industry can and will make a significant contribution to the energy transition with decentralized energy systems of the future,” says Neuhaus.

With this completely new and unique system portfolio, SOLARWATT is not only focusing on the highest quality, innovation and decentralized internal supply, but also serving the wishes of the customers for independence and calculable costs for the future.

Podium discussion on energy transition
As part of a podium discussion, German Environment Minister Peter Altmaier will be discussing with Hans-Peter Villis, former CEO of the energy supplier EnBW, Heinz-Werner Binzel, Managing Director of Densys GmbH and CEO Detlef Neuhaus the meaningful and sustainable contribution of solar companies to the implementation of the energy transition in Germany. The entrepreneur and main partner of SOLARWATT Stefan Quandt will make the introductory speech.

After the restructuring was successfully completed in the spring of 2013, SOLARWATT GmbH is expecting to be back in the black in the next year. “It is now showing,” says CFO Carsten Bovenschen, “how important it was that we intensively worked on innovative products and system solutions even before the crisis.”
