The project includes upgrading a 3.5-kilometer railroad stretch, rebuilding the station, constructing two new platforms and an underpass, and improving the surrounding traffic system with new roads, sidewalks, overpasses, and bridges. The project aims to enhance connectivity with Krakow, reducing travel time and promoting regional development. (PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 30-Jul-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has secured a contract with PKP Polish Railway Lines S.A. to modernize the train station in Limanowa, situated along railroad line 104 in southern Poland. The contract, valued at PLN 272 million (approximately SEK 720 million), will be included in Skanska’s order bookings for Europe for the third quarter of 2024.
