(PRESS RELEASE) ZURICH, 7-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — SIX Group AG has retained its ‘A/A-1’ long- and short-term issuer credit ratings from S&P Global Ratings, with the agency also maintaining a stable outlook for the company.

S&P Global Ratings also affirmed its ‘A+/A-1’ ratings on SIX operating subsidiaries SIX SIS AG and SIX x-clear AG, with stable outlooks maintained for all rated entities.

The assessment reflects what S&P Global Ratings identifies as SIX’s strong market position, vertically integrated business model and ability to generate diversified and stable earnings while maintaining strong deleveraging capacity.

Stable outlook reflects expectations for continued growth and margin expansion

S&P Global Ratings said the stable outlooks reflect its expectation that SIX will continue to deliver revenue growth and EBITDA margin expansion while maintaining sustainable levels of financial leverage.

The agency also highlighted SIX’s performance during the first half of 2026, recognising the company’s progress in strengthening its financial position and executing its strategic priorities.

SIX said the rating confirmation supports its objective of maintaining a resilient financial profile while continuing to invest in the development of its core businesses.

Scale Up 2027 transformation programme recognised

S&P Global Ratings also noted progress under SIX’s Scale Up 2027 transformation programme, which is intended to support the Group’s strategic development and improve operational and financial performance.

The programme is being implemented alongside continued growth across the company’s businesses and a disciplined approach to cost management.

SIX said these measures are contributing to stronger profitability and creating additional capacity to invest in future growth.

Aquis Exchange integration contributes to first-half performance

Markus Habbel, CFO of SIX, said the S&P Global Ratings assessment confirms the progress the company is making in implementing its Group strategy and strengthening its financial profile.

He highlighted continued growth across SIX’s businesses during the first half of 2026, the successful integration of Aquis Exchange and disciplined cost management as important contributors to the company’s performance.

According to Habbel, the Group’s financial strength provides the flexibility required to continue investing in core businesses, pursue additional growth opportunities and develop innovative, high-quality solutions for clients.

Vertically integrated business model supports earnings resilience

S&P Global Ratings’ assessment places particular emphasis on SIX’s vertically integrated business model, which provides exposure to multiple areas of financial market infrastructure and contributes to earnings diversification and stability.

The combination of strong market positioning and diversified operations supports the Group’s capacity to generate cash flow and reduce leverage while continuing to fund strategic investments.

The maintained rating and stable outlook therefore provide further confirmation of SIX’s financial resilience as it advances its Scale Up 2027 programme and integrates recent strategic developments across the Group.
