Successful companies will receive an SGS assessment report, published on their website, and the flag, which is valid for one year. This initiative is designed to enable Swiss-listed companies to visibly demonstrate their alignment with global climate goals, specifically the commitment to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

As an accredited reviewer, SGS will rigorously assess the emission reduction plans of companies applying for this voluntary flag. These companies will be required to submit detailed Emission Plans, which SGS’s sustainability experts will evaluate through a comprehensive forward-looking review. Upon successful validation, SGS will issue an assessment report that will be publicly accessible on the companies’ websites, enhancing transparency and investor confidence. The flag, once awarded, is valid for one year, with annual renewals contingent upon updated confirmation of compliance.
