Senior management changes in Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD

Sofia, Bulgaria, 16-7-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — In connection with a forthcoming medical intervention which will be followed by a long absence due to hospitalization of the Executive officer Ivan Yonchev, a change is necessary in the management team of Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD.

‘After a number of consultations with doctors they unanimously recommended to me to undergo an operation. Since my recovery is expected to continue long and this will make it impossible for me to perform my work duties successfully I submitted an application to the Minister of Economy and Energy to discharge me of the position held. With a protocol of the Minister of 9th July 2014 my Contract for assigning the management of BEH EAD was terminated upon mutual consent. After my complete recovery I will continue working on the implementation of the strategic projects BEH is working on, among which undoubtedly is the construction of a new nuclear capacity – Kozloduy NPP Unit 7.

With the same protocol Jacquelin Cohen was appointed member of BD of BEH EAD  as of the date of registration of the decision in the Commercial register.

‘The draft agreement for construction of a new nuclear capacity – Unit 7 of Kozloduy NPP has undergone the respective corporate procedures at Kozloduy NPP- New Builds, Kozloduy NPP and BEH and confirmation is expected by the principal’ Yonchev specified.
