(PRESS RELEASE) RUEIL-MALMAISON, 20-Jun-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Jean-Pascal Tricoire, CEO of Schneider Electric, has made the Glassdoor’s Top CEOs 2019 Employees’ Choice list. Tricoire was ranked #54 on Glassdoor’s list achieving 94% approval rating from employees.

Glassdoor’s CEO rating is based on anonymous and voluntary employees’ feedback throughout the entire 2018. Schneider Electric has seen its Glassdoor company rating increasing over the years especially with strong growth on CEO Approval and Culture & Values.

Commenting on the recognition, Tina Mylon, SVP for Talent & Diversity, said:

“Great People make Schneider Electric a Great company. I am delighted that our employees recognize we collectively drive a meaningful purpose to enable life, progress and sustainability for all. At the same time, we are committed to provide equal opportunities to everyone, everywhere so that our employees are empowered to innovate and manage their unique life and work.”

He is also a director of the worldwide board of the UN Global Compact and is a UN #HeForShe Corporate IMPACT champion working with other heads of state, universities and companies to advance gender equality.

Glassdoor’s Top CEOs list is released annually in recognition of the top CEOs highlighting the leaders that employees love working with and for. The list is available across North America and parts of Europe.

Glassdoor takes into consideration employees’ reviews that rate different factors about their employment experience such as their overall satisfaction and other workplace attributes like senior management. Employees are also rating whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing. Glassdoor is currently having more than 900,000 companies reviewed and the average CEO approval rating is 69 percent.

This year’s list was compiled and determined by Glassdoor making a use of company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between May 2, 2018 and May 1, 2019. Glassdoor then applies a proprietary algorithm that takes into consideration quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
