Scania Top Team competition crowns Germany as the winner out of 8,000 service technicians

(IN BRIEF) Team Germany emerged as the winner in the eleventh international Top Team World Final, beating 11 other teams from different countries. The competition aims to highlight the importance of service personnel, who are vital for Scania’s success. With 8,000 service technicians and parts experts from 70 countries, Scania’s Top Team competition is a global training program that focuses on practical and theoretical skills. The winning team from Germany received a prize of EUR 50,000.

The compe­ti­tion

Scania Top Team begins at the team’s workshop with theoretical challenges. The best teams advance to the national final where theoretical exercises are supplemented with practical exercises. Winners of the national finals meet at the international regional finals. From here, only 12 teams will make it to the world finals. Competition exercises require knowledge, team spirit, and discipline. The competition format follows daily work patterns, the most essential objective being to satisfy the customer’s needs.
