(PRESS RELEASE) SÖDERTÄLJE, 20-Sep-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — On September 19, 2024, Scania announced the introduction of its new modular service portfolio, Services 360, designed to offer international customers seamless, customized solutions across Europe. This industry-first initiative strengthens Scania’s position as the most customer-focused original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the trucking industry, providing consistent service options for vehicles and fleets regardless of location.

As fleets grow larger and are increasingly used across borders, Services 360 allows European fleet owners to easily access and purchase identical service packages wherever they operate. Mikael Blom, Product Manager at Scania, noted that the modular approach enables Scania to offer a unified customer experience across the continent, enhancing customer support and recognition no matter where a vehicle is in Europe.

Scania’s service portfolio consists of standardized building blocks, allowing customers to select options ranging from basic maintenance to advanced services such as Flexible Maintenance (condition-based maintenance) and Scania ProCare (preventive replacement of key components). The new offering also includes Max24, a guarantee that broken-down trucks will be back on the road within 24 hours, anywhere in Europe.

Scania also introduced Scania Guardian, a predictive service based on real-time data and algorithms that alerts customers to potential vehicle issues before breakdowns occur. This proactive service aims to maximize vehicle uptime and keep fleets operational.
