Scania Expands Value of Scania Dynamic With Digital Services, ProDriver Coaching and Services 360 Uptime Support

Scania digital services with Scania Dynamic

(IN BRIEF) Scania is extending the operational benefits of Scania Dynamic through an integrated portfolio of digital services, driver coaching and lifecycle support aimed at improving efficiency, comfort, control and vehicle uptime. Scania Dynamic introduces updates including improved interior comfort, lighting, digital rear-view mirrors and driver-support functions, while tools such as the Scania Driver app, ProDriver, My Scania and the Scania Fleet app connect drivers, vehicles and fleet managers. ProDriver provides gamified digital coaching and learning modules intended to improve driving efficiency. According to Scania, a study involving 900 drivers found fuel savings of up to 5%, with average fleet savings of 3.1%. The Scania Driver app provides remote access to vehicle status and selected control functions, while My Scania gives fleet managers access to operational insights and service information. Scania’s Services 360 portfolio complements these digital tools with modular support covering maintenance planning, repair coverage, uptime and digital services across electric and combustion-engine fleets, helping customers protect vehicle availability and operating performance throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 15-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Scania is extending the operational benefits of its updated Scania Dynamic truck through a combination of connected digital services, driver coaching and lifecycle support designed to improve efficiency, vehicle control, driver comfort and fleet uptime.

Scania Dynamic introduces a series of vehicle improvements spanning the driver environment, energy efficiency and everyday usability. These include enhanced interior comfort, updated lighting, digital rear-view mirrors and additional driver-support functions intended to create a more intuitive and comfortable working environment.

Scania said the value of a modern commercial vehicle increasingly depends not only on the truck itself but on how effectively the vehicle, driver, data and service infrastructure work together. Its wider ecosystem therefore combines Scania Dynamic with digital tools such as the Scania Driver app, ProDriver, My Scania, the Scania Fleet app and the company’s Services 360 portfolio.

Lars Gustafsson, Senior Vice President and Head of Solutions Management at Scania, said the company’s digital ecosystem connects the vehicle, driver and fleet manager and turns vehicle and operational data into practical actions that can support more efficient driving, stronger vehicle control and improved day-to-day performance.

While Scania Dynamic delivers physical improvements that contribute to energy efficiency, Scania is also focusing on driver behaviour as an important factor in fuel and energy consumption.

Through ProDriver, available via the Scania Driver app, drivers receive digital coaching, learning modules and real-world driving challenges delivered through a gamified format. The system is designed to encourage more efficient driving habits over time rather than relying solely on vehicle technology to reduce consumption.

According to Scania, a study involving 900 drivers before and after using ProDriver showed measurable fuel savings across all driver groups. Depending on existing driving performance and habits, fuel savings reached up to 5%, while even drivers who were already performing at a high level achieved further efficiency improvements.

Across the fleets included in the study, the average fuel saving was 3.1%.

Fleet managers can monitor ProDriver performance through My Scania, allowing driver-development data to be linked with broader operational performance and fleet-management activities.

The Scania Driver app also extends the Scania Dynamic experience beyond the cab by providing drivers with remote access to selected vehicle status information and control functions.

Drivers can check vehicle readiness before departure and prepare for the working day without needing to be physically inside the truck. This is intended to improve convenience and reduce unnecessary delays during daily vehicle preparation.

Within Scania’s connected ecosystem, different platforms serve different operational roles. The Scania Driver app is focused primarily on the driver and the individual vehicle, while My Scania provides fleet-level insights and access to Scania services.

The Scania Fleet app gives back-office personnel a mobile overview of fleet operations, helping operational teams remain connected when away from a desktop environment.

Together, these services are designed to give drivers, fleet managers and back-office teams access to relevant vehicle and fleet information so that decisions can be made more quickly and operational issues addressed more efficiently.

While digital services support day-to-day vehicle operation, Services 360 is focused on protecting vehicle value and availability over the longer term.

The modular service portfolio supports areas including uptime, maintenance planning, repair coverage, digital tools and more predictable operating performance. Scania said the approach is designed to help customers extend the benefits of Scania Dynamic throughout the vehicle lifecycle rather than limiting them to the initial vehicle specification.

For fleets operating both electric and combustion-engine vehicles, Services 360 provides a common framework for supporting vehicle availability and maintenance requirements across different powertrain technologies.

Scania said improvements in vehicle energy efficiency can help reduce operating costs and emissions, while effective maintenance planning and service coverage can help maximise fleet availability and limit disruption caused by unplanned downtime.

The company describes Scania Dynamic as an example of its continuous-improvement approach to vehicle development, where multiple incremental updates are combined to improve the overall truck experience.

Scania is applying the same principle to its digital and service portfolio, combining vehicle improvements with connected services, driver-development tools and lifecycle support.

Through the integration of Scania Dynamic, Scania Driver app, ProDriver, My Scania, Scania Fleet app and Services 360, the company aims to help customers improve driver performance, reduce fuel and energy consumption, increase vehicle availability and achieve more efficient fleet operations over the long term.
